Green Acres is a boutique glamping retreat just 24 miles from Downtown Austin. Whether you’re looking for a private escape to create, a family ready to enjoy quality time together in nature, or friends wanting a weekend away in the Texas hill country, after seeing our beautiful 25-acres, you’ll never want to check out!
Our eco-lodging connects guests with nature without the stress of traditional camping. Each unit on our property has access to a private fire pit (perfect for cocktails, storytelling, & conversation), the modern communal bathhouses, and communal Vintage Barn (formerly owned by the LBJ family) which houses the kitchen and dining areas. You’ll also enjoy our walking trails in the woods, donkeys, picnic tables, outdoor games, outdoor sound system, cards / games, horseshoes, hammocks, and binoculars for bird watching.
Our "Lodge" was newly built in 2016 out of all reclaimed materials from an old barn in Kentucky. Sitting at 672 sq ft, it comes equipped with all modern amenities: private shower and bathroom, AC, convection oven / microwave, stovetop, dishwasher, fridge, washer and dryer, screened in porch w/ hanging FULL bed, all new plumbing and lighting, and a rain water collection, cistern and filtration system that supplies water for the entire house. The "Lodge" is located on the far south side of the property, but still has access to the rest of the Green Acres amenities (barn / animal field, trails and corral if desired, although a private fire pit is located at The Lodge).

OFF LIMITS: The tool shed(s), shipping container, all other units (unless you have them rented), and upper portion of the barn are OFF LIMITS. We also do not recommend walking in the woods off of any obvious paths as we do have wildlife on the property we want to protect (as well as avoid any poison ivy and potential snakes).
THE GREEN ACRES PROPERTY
We have poured our love of hospitality & design into Green Acres to provide a sustainable retreat for our guests. The property offers two yurts, a vintage Spartan trailer, a vintage Airstream trailer, and an "Eco" Cabin available to rent separately (instant booking) or as a whole (inquiry only).
Essentials like hand soap, dish washing liquid, and detergents will be provided. Please be sure to bring your own toiletries.
There are earplugs in drawers of each yurt if you would like to use to block the nature noises.
Inspired by a time to UNPLUG — Basic WiFi is available @ Green Acres and most cell service and cellular work well!
