Private home in quiet neighborhood close to many top attractions. One block from hike and bike trail, a park along Lady Bird Lake and a well equipped park with public swimming pool, children’s playground, picnic areas and sports fields. Rainey St is a scenic one mile walk, downtown is 2-3 mi walk along the lake. The home is fully equipped including fast wifi at 300mbps up/down on 5g, 2 ms ping. East Austin location, conveniently near almost everything, yet is a quiet comfortable private home.
The space
The entire house is available to the guests. It includes a living area with a comfortable leather sectional couch and recliner. There is a 60 inch 4K Smart TV. One bedroom has a queen size bed and the other a double bed. There are closets and dressers available in both rooms. There is a picnic table in the shaded backyard. The kitchen is fully equipped if you’d like to make a gourmet meal. It also has a new steam washer and dryer available for guest use.
Guest access
The guest have access to both bedrooms, the living room, dining area, kitchen, utility room, front and backyard. (Basically the entire house except for one locked bedroom.) There is off street parking. The guests are welcome to use the washer and dryer. The kitchen is fully equipped and available to the guest.
Other things to note
We are close to the hike and bike trail and an extensive park. There is another short term rental unit in the backyard. These guests have given very high ratings, most commenting on the convenience of being close to Rainy Street, downtown, the good local food venues and the lovely hike and bike trail. Many guests have chosen to rent bikes. This area is very bike friendly. We have maps and instructions in the notebook of the house explaining how to use the best routes to go downtown and get around on bicycle. It isn't necessary to go downtown or Rainey street to find entertainment. There are many entertainment venues very close by within easy walking distance.
