Positive: The hotel was easy to locate. The facilities were clean. The food at the restaurant was the best we had during our 1.5-week stay in Bacalar, better than restaurants downtown and at other hotels. It was nice to have complimentary kayaks too.

Negative: The condition of some amenities could be improved, for example, the lounge chairs at the dock (most were broken, and very uncomfortable). Also, every building is supposed to have a jacuzzi on its rooftop, but ours wasn't working. The small stove in our room also wasn't working.
