The Sunmor neighborhood has the highest concentration of Alexander and other architecturally significant midcentury modern homes built between 1955 and 1961. The original developer, Robert "Bob" Higgins, built the first 11 homes; all designed by the iconic Palm Springs architecture team of Donald Wexler & Richard Harrison. Live More! was one of those homes built in 1955.
This 3 bed, 2 bath home is the perfect getaway for family or friends. Thoughtfully renovated and beautifully furnished, the house features a modern open floor plan, gleaming porcelain floors, original open-beam and tongue and groove ceiling and a smart update for today – the kitchen open to the large living space. Two separate seating areas give you plenty of space to relax and look out the wall of glass to the pool or enjoy what’s on the 50” Smart TV. The dining area features a modern table that seats 8.
The kitchen includes quartz countertops, white lacquer cabinetry, and stainless steel appliances. There is also a breakfast bar with counter seating – perfect for keeping the cook company or working on your laptop should you need to check in with the office.
The fenced and private desert-landscaped yard has stunning mountain views. The 14’ x 28’ pool has all-day sun exposure and the spa sits above the pool with a spillover waterfall and great views of the San Jacinto mountains. And in season, you’ll enjoy an abundance of citrus to make the perfect cocktail.
The spacious primary bedroom has a king-sized bed and 50" smart TV. There is a large ensuite with dual sinks, a large walk-in shower with 10” rain shower head, and a clerestory window that provides palm tree views and tons of natural light. This bedroom also has a walk-in closet.
Across the hall, you’ll find two guest bedrooms. The first has a queen bed, a large closet, and a 40” TV. The second guest bedroom has two standard twin beds, a large closet, and a 32” TV. Both bedrooms have sliding glass door access to the pool. The bedrooms share a large guest bathroom with a wide double sink vanity and step-in shower.
Live More! is in a beautiful midcentury neighborhood, a great central Palm Springs location, and just a short drive to shopping, golf courses, and downtown.
RULES AND THINGS TO NOTE:
**Pool and spa heat are optional for $30-$80 per day. This fee is not included in the quoted price on some booking platforms and, if not, will be collected after you book.
**Minimum age for every guest is 25 unless accompanied by a parent. No groups larger than 6 (regardless of age) and no parties.
**Palm Springs has strict noise, occupancy, and parking rules, INCLUDING THAT NO MUSIC IS ALLOWED OUTSIDE AT ANY TIME. Violation of these rules will result in a $1000 fine and immediate eviction from the house with no refund.
**Included in your booking is an accidental damage waiver fee which applies to covered damage up to $2000. Rules and limits apply. See the rental contract for more information.
**On rentals of 28-nights or more renter is responsible for the entire gas and electric bill from check-in to check-out based on meter reads. A utility deposit will be collected after booking and will be applied to these bills. Any remaining balance will be refunded to you, however you are responsible for any overages.
**The City of Palm Springs requires an additional written contract which you must sign after you book and requires that you send us a copy of your ID before you check in.
