Spacious, gorgeous, fully renovated 4 bedroom 3.5 bathroom Lake Austin getaway on 1 flat acre with pool, hot tub, pickleball court, 2 story dock, and outstanding outdoor living/dining/kitchen area. Walk to Ski Shores cafe and miles of hiking trails. this thoughtful, newly remodeled home makes an incredible getaway 25 mins to downtown.
12-seat movie theater, gourmet kitchen, gameroom, and paddleboarding/kayaking right out the back door, there's something for everyone everyone at this retreat.
The space
This light, bright, airy Lake Austin retreat has been thoughtfully re-designed and cultivated by the owners for years of enjoyment. The house was completely remodeled from 2019-2021, during which every system was upgraded. This is a special place where memories can't help but be made.
Upon arrival, you'll be greeted by a classic 2 story white brick house coated in green ivy and a large, shaded front yard. Ascend the steel staircase and enter the foyer, where you'll be stunned by expansive views of Lake Austin, centuries old bald cypress trees, and the green cliffs of Rob Roy.
Contemporary styling throughout the house is accented by modern tile, which extends to the nearly 1000 square foot covered outdoor living, dining, and kitchen with fireplace, TV, and large ceiling fans. This exceptional outdoor space can be accessed by a 12' tall double slider that can be kept open to create a thoughtful indoor/outdoor living experience.
The outdoor kitchen, overlooking the lake, features a Kamodo Joe ceramic grill, 42" gas grill, two additional side burners, and outdoor sink. Commercial grade picnic tables on the covered terrace easily accommodate 12.
Back inside, the gourmet kitchen inside features a 6-burner gas Viking range with a large griddle and double convection oven. A large white marble island comfortably seats 6, which supplements the custom 8-seat solid walnut dining table in the adjacent dining space. The kitchen also offers a large built-in desk for those needing space to work.
The upstairs living room, providing a large, plush leather sectional sofa, 70" tv, Yamaha piano, is a wonderful space to look over the emerald green water just steps away. On this level, you'll also find the primary main suite and two guest bedrooms. The main suite has a king Sleep Numbers bed with dual adjustable zones, en suite bath, double vanity, bathtub, and access to the terrace. Guest bedroom 1 has a king size tempurpedic mattress, while guest bedroom 2 has a queen Nectar mattress. The guest bedrooms share a comfortable full bathroom, but there is an additional 1/2 bathroom off the main living area on this level. Finally, this level also features a large laundry room with washer, dryer, and sink.
Venture down the stairs to the large gameroom and movie theater. The game room, overlooking the pool and hot tub, features a wet bar with refrigerator, leather sectional in front of another 70" TV, and ping pong table. The game room also has a queen sized sofa bed with access to the downstairs full bathroom.
The movie theater seats 12 in Italian leather draped power reclining theater seats. A full bathroom off the game room doubles as a pool bath for indoor/outdoor use.
From the game room, open the double sliding doors to access another covered outdoor living space by the pool and hot tub. Wander down the flat yard from here for a game of pickleball, volleyball or basketball on the 20'x40' lakeside sport court.
Keep walking down the park-like backyard to access Lake Austin, the crown-jewel of Central Texas. A new 2 slip boat dock (completed in 2023) provides a perfect launch point for kayaks, SUPs, or your own boat/jetski. The large covered second story deck has ample seating and a large picnic table for lakeside dining.
This is truly a phenomenal home.
