Summary: Julian Lodge is a terrific, cozy place to stay that’s located right in the heart of downtown Julian. The staff are so unbelievably friendly and nice and make it a point to greet you like a welcomed friend. The location is ideal and walkable to many of the great spots in downtown like Julian Cafe and Romano’s. The staff really make the Lodge such a cutesy Hallmarkesque vibe. Highly recommend!

Summary: Room was already paid for and hotel billed me for same room hours after checking out. Notified staff and Manager never contacted me, i don't think she wants to reimburse me.

Summary: always a great stay! this is my go-to hotel when i stay in julian (which is a few times per year). the beds are a little on the firm side, but i prefer that so works for me! centrally located and walking distance to everything! great friendly service, and very cute and spacious clean rooms. can't wait to stay again! do beware that they charge $10 lot parking, except it's totally not needed as there's plenty of street parking.

Summary: Excellent customer service, room makes you feel like you are back in time, and kept clean. My complaint is the lack of comfort for the beds. I have stayed in the double and queen size mattress rooms and both are terrible for your back; regardless if you have pre-existing issues. Also, queen rooms do not have a fridge but the double bed rooms do.
