The space
**Please note that our home sits on top of a steep hillside that leads right down to the river, we have added wire railings and stairs where possible but please be aware when booking this may not be ideal for children under five.**
Our back deck leads to a 30 step staircase down to a small sandy area, perfect for chairs to enjoy the view. Below the sand there is a rocky slope leading down to the river, a great spot to swim! We recommend packing water shoes for your visit.
You will walk into the house and find the first bedroom on your right (full bed with a pullout) and a staircase leading upstairs to the queen bedroom.
Beyond the stairs is an open concept living room leading into a newly updated kitchen fully stocked with everything you need to cook a delicious meal. You will find a nespresso machine with coffee and espresso pods to make for a perfect morning. The living room features a sliding glass door leading out to a spacious deck with a grill and sitting area with a beautiful view of the river. Log into your apps on our 52" smart tv or use our selection of board games on a rainy day. There is a decorative fireplace for decor only.
Off the kitchen is the bathroom with a walk-in shower, fully stocked with individual soap, shampoo & conditioner.
The finished basement is a great hangout spot for kids or adults, the living room area features a couch, tv and table. You will find a second sliding glass door onto a lower deck (leading to the river), a living room area with a couch and tv and a separate back bedroom with four bunkbeds.
There are some great usable areas outside, a picnic table with plenty of space for lawn games (cornhole included!) and a small staircase leading down to a fire pit area, perfect for evening hangouts and s'mores!
