Welcome to the Blue Ox Boutique, located near the heart of Rochester! This beautiful property offers guests the chance to unwind in a stylish setting, that feels like a boutique hotel. With its Mod aesthetics this home is the perfect escape after a long day of work.
This home is the upper unit of a Triplex, so you may have neighbors below you.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook up a storm. With a refrigerator, oven, and microwave, you can easily prepare meals. It also has a Keurig, toaster and plenty of pots, pans, and dishes. There is a separate dining room with seating for four across the hall from the kitchen.
Two of the bedrooms have queen-size beds and the third bedroom is a full-size bed. Each room has blackout curtains and a sound machine, to make each room as comfortable as possible no matter what part of the day you are sleeping.
The bathroom is equipped with towels, toiletries, and a hairdryer. You may need to restock toiletries if you are staying longer than a week.
The living area is whimsically decorated with Paul Bunyan décor as a nod to the Minnesota icon. It also features a 50” smart TV.
Things to note:
This is the upper unit of a TRIPLEX, so there may be neighbors and noise below you. Each unit is separate, with its own entry.
There is a set of stairs to get up into the unit (see photos).
Parking: There are two onsite parking spaces if you park tandem (one if you don't park tandem). There is also plenty of street parking.
The entire triplex is run by one heating/cooling system, because of this guest are not able to change the temperature on the thermostat. The house is set at 70 degrees in the day and 68 degrees at night. The unit is equipped with a space heater, portable fans, and an additional window AC unit in the summer, to help make the space as comfortable as possible. We can also change the temperature remotely if needed.
Wifi and utilities are included. There is no cable tv. The Smart TV requires you to use your own account.
There is not a washer/dryer in this unit, but my cleaner offers weekly pick-up and drop off laundry service (by request), and there is a laundry mat a mile from the house.
The layout of this unit is unique, it’s not an open concept home, the living room and dining room are separate rooms with doors.
